Bruce Lee is definitely a legend in the public's eyes but, I think people often forget how revolutionary he really was. He essentially was the first person to break down the walls of martial arts which at the time were all segregated. The first mixed martial artist really, there was even an arm bar at the beginning of Enter the Dragon. I'm sure when people first saw that scene they were thinking "hopefully it gets to the punches and kicks soon" because at the time that was more what audiences could understand. Now though most people at least have heard the term arm bar and most could show you loosely what it is.

So, appreciate Bruce Lee and watch him beat Chuck Norris the fuck up and go practice some kicks and arm bars.
